Junk fax scamster offering "Yummy yum-yum diet" and bogus polls ignores FCC warning, hit with $1.1 million fine.December 7, 2000 -After ignoring a citation in March, 2000, the Federal Communications Commission issued a $1.1 million monetary forfeiture against 21st Century Fax. 21st Century Fax is notorious for the voluminous "Yummy yum-yum" and cabbage soup diet recipes and bogus poll faxes. These schemes involve sending faxes to different pay-per-call "900" numbers to "vote" one way or another or retrieve a cabbage diet recipe. Links to citation & forfeiture on FCC site:
