March 14, 2001 - In yet another nail in the coffin of American
Blast Fax and the illicit junk fax industry, a Missouri court
issued another summary judgment order in a consolidated case involving Dallas-based
junk faxer American Blast Fax as well as a number of its clients.
23 individual plaintiffs received
judgments totaling $83,000 against ABF and clients Cox Industrial Equipment
Co., Inc., Advanced Digital Telemarketing, The Breve Company,
Inc., and Richard Townsend d/b/a Financial Strategies Group.
The companies hired ABF to send faxed advertisements for them.
